The Women’s College World Series wraps up the second round on Saturday. By the end of the day, the entire semifinal field will be set for Sunday. No. 1 Florida and No. 10 Oklahoma earned their semifinal spots on Friday and get to enjoy the day off.

The semifinal field will officially be set on Saturday.


The first two games on Saturday feature the losers from the first and second rounds, who are still alive in the double-elimination tournament but must win two games in one day to reach the semis. The first game sees UCLA taking on Texas A&M at noon, after the Bruins were upset by No. 13 LSU and the Aggies dropped a game to top-ranked Florida. The winner of this game moves on to face LSU later in the evening.
The next game features No. 3 Oregon taking on No. 15 Baylor. The Ducks were taken down by Washington, 3-1, in the previous round, while the Bears lost to Oklahoma. This game’s winner gets LSU, which was blown out by Florida in the second round.
The semifinal round takes place on Sunday, setting up a best-of-three championship series that starts on Monday.
