Trick plays always look cool until they don’t work out. Then they look stupid.
This offensive lineman did ‘The Worm’ to draw a defender offsides. It didn’t work
This isn’t a penalty, but it should be for bad dancing

WORST FOOTBALL PLAY OF ALL TIME. Glynn Academy tries to pull Benedictine offsides by doing the worm....see for yourself. @WJCLNews pic.twitter.com/cU97qcQbmk

Glynn Academy, a high school in Georgia, was apparently trying to draw their opponents offsides. It didn’t work.
Yes, that is the decades-old dance craze society calls “The Worm.”
Now, I’ve had to do a lot of physically demanding things while playing team sports.
If you asked me to do “The Worm” in pads? In August weather? I would have quit the team. I can’t even do “The Worm” on the dance floor, much less on the football field.
If I was coaching the defense and it did work I would have made everyone on the defense take a lap on some Remember the Titans stuff.
10/10 for creativity, though.
This play safely belongs in the category of other creative trick plays that failed.
Which gives me a reason to post this.
Classic.
