SummerSlam 2017 results: The Usos are the new ‘SmackDown’ Tag Team Champions

The Usos fought hard to win the ‘SmackDown’ Tag Team Championships against The New Day.

The Usos and The New Day tore the roof off the Barclays Center, but The Usos walked away with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Jimmy Uso and Xavier Woods started the matchup and immediately began throwing strikes at one another. Woods quickly showed his aggression by ripping Jimmy’s shirt off and slapping his chest. But when Woods tried to connect on an aerial maneuver, Jimmy connected on an uppercut, sending Woods to the canvas in pain.

Jimmy later tagged in his brother, Jay Uso. Jay relentlessly attacked Woods, applying a headlock and viscously Irish Whipping him into the turnbuckle. The Usos controlled the match in the early stages by beating Woods in their corner.

Later, Jimmy simply isolated Woods from his corner by applying another headlock on Woods far across the ring. The Usos looked confident, but Woods turned the momentum of the match quickly by slamming Jimmy on his face. He later tagged in Big E, and the big man went to work quickly. From that moment on, The New Day displayed some great teamwork that made the crowd burst into cheers.

Both teams attacked each other with a lot of force in this bout, and the fans were surprised by all the kick-outs. These two teams brought the best out of each other during match. In fact, Kofi Kingston couldn’t believe how both teams kept kicking out of pins.

The Usos gained control of the match after they hit him with numerous Super Kicks. They are now four-time Tag Team Champions.
