Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have been trading insults for the past few months ahead of their spectacle of a boxing match set for Aug. 26. Less than a week away from exchanging blows in the squared circle, that talk has changed little: Almost every fan believes Mayweather, who has a 49-0 boxing record, will come out on top because McGregor doesn’t have any boxing experience. Yet, the odds have began shifting as bettors have started to look for value.
Mayweather vs. McGregor odds: Conor providing bettors a chance at value
Most people think Floyd Mayweather will win, but putting money on Conor McGregor isn’t outrageous

Oddshark tracked every odds prediction from last November to now. Mayweather jumped out to an astounding -2250 — meaning you have to bet $2250 to win $100 profit — over McGregor in November 2016. However, the table shows that fans began to bet on McGregor as time elapsed.
As of Aug. 20, Mayweather is at -400 chance to win the fight, while McGregor is at +300, meaning a $100 bet pays $300 profit. OddShark also notes Mayweather has a -130 chance to win the fight via TKO, and McGregor has a +325 shot to score a TKO.
Some fans do not believe this fight will last through 12 rounds. But if it does, OddShark thinks Mayweather has a +250 shot of winning via decision and McGregor has a +500 chance.
Lastly, the early stages of this bout should get quite physical quickly. You can expect Mayweather to take the fight to McGregor once the bell rings. In fact, OddShark thinks the undefeated boxer is the +1600 favorite to win the first round, and McGregor has a +1400 shot to win.
McGregor and Mayweather will both fight at 154 pounds, while using eight-ounce gloves.
