The basics: The ACC is a conference defined by its heavyweights. Either Clemson or Florida State has won the conference crown in each season since 2010. The Tigers have brought the last two home, but as the champs reload, the Noles still have a chance to take the crown back. Despite losing QB Deondre Francois to injury, they still have who may be the nation’s best player in DB Derwin James.

Projected final regular season record? S&P+ has the Noles down for right around 8-3 at this point, after a minor game against ULM was canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

Biggest game left: Probably going to be the one against Clemson on Nov. 11.

Best game left: We’ve already told you that the conference title runs through either Clemson or FSU. That probably won’t change, so circle Veteran’s Day on the calendar, boys and girls. Five of the last seven matchups between the two teams have been decided by 10 points or less.
