The Brewers are making Miller Park feel like home for the Marlins this weekend

The series had to relocate due to Hurricane Irma recovery efforts.

The Marlins’ series against the Brewers this weekend was relocated to Milwaukee after Miami came to the conclusion that taking away personnel from other areas of the city after Hurricane Irma hit last weekend would be a hardship for relief efforts.

It’s still a “home” game for the Marlins though, so the Brewers decided to spice up the park a little bit and make it feel like home for their guests.

They did that with fake palm trees, garish colorful fish, and random flamingos strewn around.

Which means they nailed it, because if you’re trying to recreate Marlins Park on a budget that’s exactly the design aesthetic you should be going for. Just look at how similar it is to Miami!

Okay, it might not have been entirely accurate (or to scale) but without the ability to ship the Home Run Sculpture all the way to Milwaukee just for the weekend this is the next best thing.

Which player is going to want to bring that flamingo home with them on the plane?
