Kristaps Porzingis, the official large adult son of the greater New York City metropolitan area, is still six weeks away from the NBA season. But as a proud Latvian, he’s playing in EuroBasket 2017. On Saturday, the Belgians met Porzingis. Oh, did they meet him.
Not all unicorns fly, but Kristaps Porzingis sure does
Belgian players are the latest to exercise the magic of Porzingis.
What makes me very excited for the return of basketball is the classic attempt by Porzingis to not smile in awe of himself after the play. He knows that putback was rad, but he’s trying very hard to hide his pleasure.
This isn’t Porzingis’ first rodeo of the summer. He displayed his unicornosity at the NBA Africa Game last month and has been special in EuroBasket to date.
