A few years after an incredible NBA career came to a close, Tracy McGrady is heading to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. McGrady, who spent equally exciting time with the Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets, is part of an illustrious 2017 Hall of Fame class that will be inducted on Friday.

McGrady spent 15 seasons in the NBA: three alongside his cousin, Vince Carter, in Toronto; four developing into an all-time great in Orlando; and five chasing a championship in Houston before a nomadic end to his career. He averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and hovered around a steal and a block per game for his career, and that includes his declining years in the senescent stage of his career.

Had he retired after his final full season with the Rockets, McGrady would have had slightly higher averages of 21.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

Today, the ball player revered as “T-Mac” immortalizes with some of the greatest athletes and basketball minds the world has ever seen. To celebrate this accomplishment, we rewound to take a look at some of the best moments of Tracy McGrady’s illustrious career.
