DeMar DeRozan lit the Bucks up for 52 points in Toronto’s overtime 131-127 win over Milwaukee on Monday night. He set a new career-high while eclipsing Vince Carter’s mark of 51 points to set a new Raptors franchise record for points scored in a single game.

DeRozan shot 17-of-29 (58.6 percent) from the field and five-of-nine from three (55.6 percent) and made all 13 of his free throw attempts. His 52-point game was also just the third 50-point game in Raptors’ history, alongside Carter and Terrence Ross.
DeRozan’s career night was propelled by a 21-point first quarter that helped build a five-point lead at the end of one.
He was also responsible for 15 clutch points in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter and in overtime.
DeRozan also joins LeBron James, James Harden and Bradley Beal as the only players to go off for 50 or more points this season.
DeRozan’s masterful night helped propel the Raptors to their 12th straight win at home and to a 25-10 record, jammed between the Celtics (30-10) and Cavaliers (24-12) for third seed in the Eastern Conference.
