And Vikings fans are a tad bitter about it.
With people attempting to travel for the game, Vikings fans urged Minnesotans not to let Eagles fans stay via Airbnb — an online marketplace that allows people to rent or lease their properties:
And it seems like it’s a real problem for Eagles fans. One Reddit user posted an email from Airbnb that said one homeowner association banned all short-term renting until after the Super Bowl.
That policy affects both Eagles and Patriots fans, though. And it’s not that difficult to understand why homeowners would be wary of renting to rowdy football fans after watching Philadelphia grease up lampposts with Crisco to keep people from climbing and wreaking havoc.
But Vikings fans are also planning on messing with Eagles fans in other ways too — like signing up to be Uber drivers and dropping off visitors from Philadelphia in wrong places.
Have fun in Minnesota, Eagles fans, but beware: Not everyone is happy you’re visiting.
