War has broken out in an unlikely place, the Instagram comments of a Kyle Kuzma post. The rookie surprise posted this photo to his feed before the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Chicago Bulls, and he almost instantly received a barrage of responses.

Kuzma and his teammates had some legitimately savage burns.
Most of the comments are women calling him “daddy” or dudes complaining about his skinny jeans, but there were some higher-profile commenters, too. Here are two teammates jumping in to roast him.
That’s Brandon Ingram and Jordan Clarkson, if you can’t tell. Lonzo Ball quickly agrees with Ingram, but Kuzma doesn’t let him slide.
And LaMelo Ball hops in for some reason, too, which Kuzma also has a clapback for.
And they keep going, somehow.

Look, maybe you’re too good for some quality, old-fashioned Instagram roasting, or maybe you saw the Ball surname and immediately tuned out, and whatever, that’s fine. I actually enjoyed NBA players going back and forth at each other about it.
(I also would like to make a Christmas wish for Instagram to improve their comment threading, because otherwise it’s a disaster finding these things. Please. Do it for the hard working SB Nation NBA bloggers, I beg of you.)
