Enes Kanter has been quite the lightning rod this season on the court. He’s a solid player who has carved a niche out for himself as a tough rebounder and solid post player.
Add Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns to never-ending list of Enes Kanter beefs
Yeah, it’s going to get weird.

I guess we can add enforcer to his resume now, too?
No, that might not be quite right. Dudley has stirred up the pot more than a few times with other NBA players this season, but it doesn’t necessarily make him an enforcer. Irritant might be more like it — in a good way for the Knicks, but a bad way for everyone else.
Kanter got into a beef with Devin Booker in the Knicks’ game against the Suns Friday night when Kanter swatted the Suns guard’s shot out of bounds. He stared Booker down and Booker took exception to that, so he shoved Kanter and got ejected.
The Suns lost their star and the Knicks eventually won the game, which prompted Kanter to fire off a Twitter shot at Booker.
That’s a biiiit corny for my taste, but a solid shot nonetheless. And one the Suns caught wind of, apparently, because Suns veteran forward Jared Dudley fired back at Kanter on behalf of his teammate, calling him a ‘fake tough guy.’
And, of course, Kanter put those Twitter fingers back to work. This time his barbs were aimed at Dudley’s dad bod. Wait, WHAT?
Bruh.
Dudley fired back saying Kanter was a corny person who is bad at defense, which doesn’t sound like a great burn to you and me but might sound different for all the hoopers out there.
The NBA is beyond ridiculous at this point. We’ve got shoving and ejections turning into Twitter wars. I cannot.
This isn’t even Kanter’s first beef this season
And he doesn’t care who he’s beefing with. He’s been going at LeBron James since James decided to talk about what point guard the Knicks should have drafted in November. He’s been trolling him ever since.
Kanter might be corny, but he’s unquestionably one of the best teammates in the league. He sticks up for the people he cares about — even when they trade him away. He’s still riding for the Thunder despite being a Knick. He tweeted this after Oklahoma City put up 148 points on the Cavs last week.
Say what you want about Kanter going at whomever. He might be annoying and it might be childish, but it’s also clear dedication to his former and current teammates. And I’m sure, for them, it’s greatly appreciated.
