Untucked jersey Kyrie made an appearance against the Warriors!

It’s the basketball version of a Super Saiyan.

There are many legendary NBA players that we see for brief glimpses. They often lay dormant in current NBA players and then release themselves into the game when the basketball gods deem it OK.

There’s gang sign John Wall, Headband Derek Fisher, Hoodie Melo and Black Mask LeBron to name a few. Today I’m here to talk about untucked jersey Kyrie Irving. He made a quick appearance against the Warriors and started out 5-of-5 from the field.

Coincidence?

Absolutely not. Kyrie untucking his jersey is the equivalent to Goku going Super Saiyan 3. When the team needs him most, the kryptonite known as a tucked jersey loosens its grip and allows him to use his true basketball powers.

I understand why the NBA asks players to keep their jerseys tucked in. It’s a preventative measure for us to not discover if this power lies dormant in other players. I’m onto you, Adam Silver. You ain’t slick.

Well played, NBA.
