Streetball legend Hot Sauce put a Hawks fan on his cheeks

Do not challenge this man.

Hot Sauce isn’t just the name of the only condiment you should ever have on tap in your kitchen. It’s also the stage name to Philip Champion, a streetball legend known for having handles that would even put Kyrie Irving and James Harden’s hybrid basketball prodigy to shame.

Hot Sauce made an appearance at halftime during the Hawks’ Monday night matchup against the Timberwolves and posed a challenge: a fan who could successfully defend him would win a prize. This fan in particular had the nerve to respond to Hot Sauce’s challenge with these words:

“I’ve been playing defensive end all my life. It can’t be that hard.”

Now watch what happens:

Let this be a lesson to us all. Do not bother this man. Hot Sauce has been just fine. We don’t need to check in on him.
