Russell Westbrook signed a new deal with Jordan Brand over the summer, so we knew a signature shoe was coming. Now, it’s finally here.
Russell Westbrook debuted his new signature shoe against the Lakers
Fire or nah?

Westbrook unveiled his new Why Not Zer0.1 against the Lakers on Wednesday night. This was his first performance signature shoe with the brand.
Westbrook debuted the “Mirror Image” colorway, featuring an upper with Westbrook dunking the ball along with the words “Why Not” on the toecap, against the Lakers. The shoe will sell in stores for $125 beginning Jan. 15.
The Mirror Image colorway will be a limited release, but the black and white “two-way” colorway will be more wide ranging.
This isn’t Westbrook’s first signature shoe. He also has the Westbrook 0 and 0.2. But this is the first signature shoe he’ll wear on a basketball court for performance.
Some have said the shoe looks similar to a Jordan XV.
Others have said it looks more similar to a less familiar Jordan Brand model — the Swift 6.
Still, this shoe is so Russell Westbrook. It feels a bit familiar, but it’s more of a retro-looking basketball shoe with a bulky silhouette. It has more in common with shoes from the 1990s than any other shoe you see on the court, and I’m sure Westbrook wouldn’t have it any other way.
