Patrick Ewing wants to know: ‘HAVE YOU EVER SHOT THAT SHOT?’

The Patrick Ewing coaching era at Georgetown is off to a surprisingly strong start. The Hoyas cruised through their unbearably easy non-conference schedule relatively unscathed and dropped their first two Big East games for an 11-2 record heading into Tuesday’s matchup with DePaul.

Marcus Derrickson put up 24 points, scoring 10 from the free throw line (making a perfect 10 for 10 from the charity stripe), but struggled from the field, going 4 for 11.

One of those shots was worse than the others, leading to the true highlight of the game — this incredible gem from Coach Ewing in the huddle:

That look from Ewing, coupled with question you don’t want to answer, is absolutely soul-shaking. I mean, it’s almost a full timeout’s worth of questioning!

To be honest, it wasn’t even the toughest thing Ewing said to Derrickson during the game.

Ewing asks the hard questions. It’s only a few days into 2018, and he’s already unwittingly provided us with the GREATEST response video of the year (and one that will be hard to beat).
