When Puma announced its return to the NBA shoe game back in June, fans were intrigued and curious about what the lifestyle shoe brand would create with its first basketball sneaker in two decades.
Puma releases its new basketball shoe, the Clyde Court Disrupt
The first Puma basketball shoe to drop in nearly 20 years is available now. Here are all the details.

Not only did Puma make a big splash by signing four NBA Draft lottery picks to endorsement deals — including DeAndre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III — but the German brand also added Boston Celtics point guard Terry Rozier and veteran San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay to its reloaded roster.
After months of anticipation and sneak peeks via summer league games and social media posts, fans can finally get their hands on a pair and test them out.
Puma basketball is officially back.

After selling out with its initial stock last week, the Clyde Court Disrupt is once again available on Puma.com. You can pick up a pair of the new shoes for $120. The Clyde Court Disrupt is also available online at Foot Locker and Eastbay.
What should I know about the shoe?
The Clyde Court Disrupt was born out of the famous Puma Clyde, the industry’s first signature shoe that was worn by New York Knicks legend Walt Frazier in 1973.
The new shoe, released in the red blast colorway, contains a knit upper along with a hybrid cushioning technology. The Clyde Court Disrupt also features a black knit formstripe graphic along with a semi translucent outsole that has a red tint.
Puma’s full basketball lineup includes Ayton, Bagley III, Rozier, Gay, and fellow rookies Michael Porter Jr., Kevin Knox, and Zhaire Smith. WNBA star Skyler Diggins Smith has also signed with the brand. Last week, Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins signed an offer sheet to join PUMA, too. Nike, Cousins’ previous sponsor, has 10 business days to match the offer.
In a cryptic tweet earlier this week, Puma also hinted that it might be pursuing a Toronto Raptors player(s). For context, Kawhi Leonard’s deal with Jordan Brand expires this month. However, fellow Raptor Danny Green (who was traded to Toronto with Leonard this offseason) posted a video of pumas on his Instagram account the other day, and ESPN’s Nick DePaula confirmed that he’s joining the brand. No word yet on Kawhi’s free-agent shoe status.
