The Big Ten and ACC lead with six teams apiece.

The top seven in the AP Poll went unchanged from last week as Duke, Kansas, Gonzaga, Virginia, Tennessee, Nevada, and North Carolina all stayed perfect. Auburn moved up one spot to No. 8, and Michigan and Kentucky round out the top-10.

The Villanova Wildcats—the reigning national champions—fell out of the rankings after losing back-to-back games to Michigan and Furman. The Wolverines jumped eight spots (the biggest of the week) in this week’s rankings as they dominated ‘Nova, George Washington, and Providence. Furman received votes this week thanks to the nine-day span that saw them upset two of last season’s Final Four teams in Loyola-Chicago and Villanova.

Iowa (No. 20), Ohio State (No. 23), and Wisconsin (No. 25) joined the rankings this week, bumping the Big Ten up to six teams in the polls. The ACC tied the Big Ten with six teams of their own, down from last week’s seven as Syracuse fell from the rankings after losses to UConn and Oregon. The SEC comes in next with five teams, led by No. 5 Tennessee.

With Villanova and Marquette both dropping out of the poll, the Big East has no teams in the top-25 this week.

A lot of the top teams are in action this week as Feast Week continues. The Maui Invitational (featuring Duke and Gonzaga) and the Bad Boys Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis (featuring Virginia and Wisconsin) get underway today and Wednesday, respectively.
