Kansas hired Les Miles to be its next head football coach in mid-November, and he’s already making things weird in Lawrence.
Les Miles made a Kansas basketball game as weird as you’d hope
Les Miles is BACK!

During halftime of Kansas’ game against Stanford, Miles came out to address the Allen Fieldhouse crowd. The Jayhawks mascot also brought out a patch of Kansas wheat grass for Miles to eat:
Miles told the crowd that his Jayhawks would work hard, and said, “We’re going to win, and win consistently.”
Considering the place, perhaps that not such a big of a promise as it may seem. Kansas hasn’t won more than three football seasons since 2009, when they won five. Prior to that, their last bowl was in 2008, an Insight Bowl victory over Minnesota.
Oh, and aside from all the football stuff, Miles gave away a pair of Yeezys to a lucky student after he spoke:
I, personally, am very curious as to whether or not Miles is up to speed on sneaker culture. Either way, this is honestly a great halftime show.
There are many reasons to be excited for Miles’ return. He’s had plenty of ventures during his break from coaching, and was always one of the more vibrant personalities on the field.
He’s been the coach for just two weeks. This should be fun.
