Malcolm Brogdon out 6-8 weeks with a partially torn tendon in left quad

A tough injury for the Bucks

Injuries stink, and the NBA has been riddled with them this week. Now, unfortunately, we can add Malcolm Brogdon to the list.

Brogdon will miss 6-8 weeks with a partially torn tendon in his left quad, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Brogdon left the Bucks’ game against the Timberwolves after suffering what was initially reported as a left quad strain. He was on his own on the break when he took off, and his leg gave out on him.

Apparently Brogdon told his teammates he “felt something pop.”

Brogdon was eventually helped off the floor by his teammates and went into the locker room, where he was officially diagnosed with a left quad tendon strain.

Hopefully Brogdon is all right. You never like to see any player suffer an injury, but the non-contact ones like this one are especially scary.

We’ll update this post as more information becomes available.
