South Korean figure skater Yura Min handled this wardrobe malfunction with such grace

South Korean figure skater Yura Min had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction on Saturday during her pairs routine with partner Alexander Gamelin during the 2018 Winter Olympics. During one of her moves early on in the routine, the red top she was wearing fell out of place.

Instead of panicking, Min handled the issue like a total professional. She told the Detroit Free Press after her routine that one of her hooks broke on her top at the beginning of her routine, which caused the malfunction:

“I was like, ‘Oh no!’ ” she said. “If that comes undone, the whole thing could just pop off. I was terrified the entire program.”

But what did she do? Stop and fix it?

“I didn’t stop,” she said. “I went from the beginning to the end. I didn’t stop because you get a deduction if you stop in the middle of a program. In my head, I was thinking, ‘Is it better to stop and fix it and get the deduction or keep going?’ ”

Min and her pairs partner, Gamelin, ended up finishing ninth, but they’ll compete together again at the ice dance competition in Pyeongchang.

After the routine, Min was all smiles.

I can’t imagine having this type of thing happen during a routine, let alone during the Olympics. Shoutout to Min for handling it with such grace!
