Kyle Lowry would win a game of HORSE with this crazy buzzer beater

Seriously. This looks like a shot created on “NBA 2k” or something.

Kyle Lowry is a great shooter — that’s a fact. He’s shooting 38 percent from deep this season and a big chunk are difficult shots off of the dribble.

But you’ll never see him hit a shot as difficult as this one he hit to end the first half against the Miami Heat. Lowry got a late pass from DeMar DeRozan who was trying to create something and never got a chance to set up for his shot.

Clearly, that didn’t matter.

That’s like a Bill Cartwright free throw in jump shot form.

The only time you see a shot like that is when you’re messing around with someone and shooting weird jumpers. It’s incredibly difficult to hit. Lowry looked to be just throwing the ball up at the rim and hoping it fell. Clearly, though, he was ready for that moment.

This shot proves one thing to me. If I had any hope of ever beating Kyle Lowry in HORSE, it died today.
