Thirty-two points. That’s how much the Golden State Warriors drubbed the Oklahoma City Thunder by on Saturday night. The game was close up until the second-half. That’s when Carmelo Anthony shoved Kevin Durant, then started jawing with Draymond Green.
NBA scores 2018: The Warriors dominated the Thunder, and 5 other things from Saturday night
Golden State’s 32-point win over Oklahoma City wasn’t the only thing that happened last night.

The Warriors responded by rattling off a 14-0 run to end the third quarter, then extending it to a 31-7 run midway through the fourth. Game, blouses.
Golden State was only .500 between Jan. 30 and the All-Star break, and many felt the Warriors had become disinterested with the competition. They were taking first quarters off against opponents, only to surge in the third quarter. That happened again against the Thunder, but Golden State managed to hold OKC to just 80 points all game long.
With that kind of defense, it doesn’t matter if the Warriors are the first or second seed in the West at the end of the regular season. They’ll be on their merry way to the NBA Finals for a fourth straight season.
Damian Lillard went off
Sure, it was against the league-worst Suns, but Lillard dropped 40 points on the Suns in a showing that was full of highlights.
Kyrie Irving dropped Frank Ntilikina
Sure he didn’t make that shot, but he did make 11 others.
Trey Burke did what?
Burke went off for 26 points and eight assists in the Knicks’ loss to the Celtics on Saturday. He became the first Knick since J.R. Smith to score at least 25 points and dish at least five assists off the bench. He also looks a lot like Allen Iverson with the cornrows he’s rocking these days.
And Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a game
KCP for three has a ring to it, and he hit eight of them in his 34-point barrage against the Kings on Saturday.
One more thing:
Saturday’s NBA Scores

Warriors 112, Thunder 80
Timberwolves 122, Bulls 104
Trail Blazers 106, Suns 104
Lakers 113, Kings 108
