During Super Bowl 52, 32,000 hot dogs, 6,500 pretzels and 9,000 chicken tenders will be sold at U.S. Bank Stadium, but generic stadium food isn’t all you’ll find if you’re heading to the Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl showdown in person.
Wondering what to eat at Super Bowl 52? Here’s U.S. Bank Stadium’s game day menu.
Heading to U.S. Bank Stadium for the Super Bowl? Here’s what you’ll have to choose from at the concession stands.
The stadium’s executive chef and his culinary team have spent an entire year dreaming up the ultimate Super Bowl menu for fans attending the biggest American sporting event of the year. There’s Philadelphia and New England classics, specialty cocktails, and even some of Minnesota’s “State Fair Classics” like smoked turkey legs, pork chops on a stick, and a cookie dough cone.
Let’s take a look at some of the 2018 Super Bowl concession stand offerings.
New England Clam Roll
They’re trying to make this look pretty fancy, but I have a good feeling the clam roll will not come out looking like this on Sunday. With that said, you can’t really go wrong with fried food on a toasted bun, so this is probably a good bet if you want to rep New England at the Super Bowl.
South Philly Roast Pork Sandwich
Questionable meat coupled with unmelted cheese? You should probably just get a roast pork sandwich back in Philly and opt for a more stadium-friendly meal.
Chickie’s & Pete’s World Famous Crab Fries
U.S. Bank Stadium’s food partner, Armark, has arranged to have Chickie’s & Pete’s “world-famous” crab fries available on game day. The Philadelphia-based chain describes the fries as “crinkle-cut French fries sprinkled with a secret blend of crabby spices.” The fries are served with “one-of-a-kind White Creamy Cheese Sauce for dipping.” If you’re looking for a taste of home at the Super Bowl, this sounds like a perfect choice.
Legal Sea Food’s Signature Clam Chowder
Soup just doesn’t seem like a good option at an indoor football game with regulated heating. Just imagine, you’re taking a big spoonful of your clam chowder and the Patriots score a touchdown. All the Patriots fans around you are going nuts, bumping into you, and your chowder gets all over your Patriots jersey. It was nice for Armark to get Legal Sea Food’s chowder sent over to Minneapolis for the game, but this is not your ideal stadium food.
Smoked Brisket Mac and Cheese
Three-cheese mac and cheese with smoked brisket seems like the perfect halftime food choice to satisfy your hunger while getting you pumped up for Justin Timberlake. This is a buy.
Cookie Dough Cone
Time for dessert? This chocolate chip and double chocolate lava cookie dough cone with whipped cream — one of the State Fair Classics — seems like the perfect option. It also appears to be quite Instagramable, if you’re into that sort of thing.
