Super Bowl 52 is headed into the second half following Justin Timberlake’s performance in the halftime show. The Super Bowl brings with it a host of opportunities to bet, and that includes prop bets about the halftime show.
2018 Super Bowl halftime show prop bet results: Justin Timberlake covers Prince, hits favorites
No real surprises in Justin Timberlake’s halftime show.

Our friends at Bovada put together a list of prop bets related to the halftime show. The first four related to the open of the show. They asked what color Timberlake’s shoes would be when he begins his halftime performance, whether or not he will be wearing a hat at the start, whether he will use a headset or handheld mic, and what song will open the show.
Shoe color: White (pays 5/6)
Hat: No (pays 2/3)
Headset or handheld mic: Handheld mic (-230)
First song: “Filthy” (pays +165)
Other prop bets included whether other artists would be involved in the performance. One was specifically whether Timberlake would cover a Prince song during halftime. The Super Bowl took place in Prince’s hometown, so it is not surprising Timberlake did cover a Prince song. It had opened at -120, but swung quickly to -1700 once news broke about it over the weekend. Timberlake had Prince on a screen singing “I Would Die 4 U,” and Timberlake sang along.
The other prop bet was whether or not any members from Timberlake’s former band, *NSYNC, would perform in the show. Joey Fatone was spotted in Minneapolis, but he was true to his statement to TMZ that he would not be taking part. No members of *NSYNC participated, which paid out at 1/3 odds.
