Giannis Antetokounmpo dunked cleanly over Tim Hardaway Jr. and it was incredible

Nah, I’m serious. Sorry, Tim.

There are good dunks and there are great dunks. And then there are dunks that are just completely ridiculous and have no business being on an NBA court.

And then there’s this dunk by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

NAH. HE REALLY JUMPED OVER A MAN IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME. FOR REAL.

Go ahead. I’ll give you a second — you can run that back just to make sure. And here’s a bit more proof before we move on.

The legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier called it a Statue of Liberty dunk, which, by definition and technique is correct. But let’s be real — ain’t nothing liberating about that dunk for anybody but Giannis.

We’ve only seen this a few times in the history of basketball — the two most famous being when Vince Carter dunked over 7-footer Frederic Weis and when LeBron James dunked clean over John Lucas III (which I totally mistook for him dunking Jason Terry’s soul out of his body).

This Antetokounmpo dunk isn’t quite Vince Carter levels of nasty, but it’s much worse than James’ dunk over Lucas.

Sure, James jumped clean over Lucas, but I’m about as tall he is. Hardaway Jr. is a legitimate 6’6 and Antetokounmpo jumped clean over the man. That’s just disrespectful, dude.

Shoutout to Giannis, man. This is the highlight of my year — it might be the highlight of my life. Best believe I’m getting this poster on my wall real soon.

Antetokounmpo’s game is so complete he doesn’t need a jump shot
