The real issue came when the camera got zoomed in. Because of the size of the chyron used for all March Madness games, it made it look like half the court was cut off.
CBS released a statement late Thursday indicating they might change things for Saturday’s two games in Boise:
Other famed arenas have slightly wonky camera angles, like Indiana’s Assembly Hall ...
.... or Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium.
And Final Fours (which are held in football domes) are notorious for their bad camera angles.
But Boise’s Taco Bell Center really takes the cake with the zoom. Hey, at least we know what it’s like to be in the cheap seats in Boise.
