Things aren’t going, umm, great for Kansas in its Final Four matchup with red-hot three-point shooting Villanova. Philadelphia 76er and former Jayhawk Joel Embiid took to Twitter to work through the pain of the game.
Former Jayhawk Joel Embiid is tweeting through this bad Kansas loss

Embiid, who is out indefinitely because of a fractured orbital bone after a freak collision with teammate Markelle Fultz, was basically all Kansas fans as the Wildcats jumped out to a 22-4 lead in the first few minutes of the game.
Can’t tell if the pain meds are helping or hurting this experience...
Seems like hurting?
In Joel’s defense, Villanova did set a new NCAA tournament record for made threes in a Final Four game, so it’s not just the meds.
Kansas got within 14 with 9:23 to play, but Villanova shut down the Jayhawks’ comeback attempt. Embiid moved on to other topics:
Embiid played just one season (2013-14) in Lawrence before going to the 76ers with the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Thanks to a stress fracture in his back, he did not play in either the Big 12 or NCAA tournaments.
Nothing will stop him from cheering for his Jayhawks, though. Except maybe Rihanna.
