DeMar DeRozan has done a lot of incredible things in his basketball career. I’m guessing he’s never had a final 10 seconds like this.
DeMar DeRozan’s flying, go-ahead poster dunk with 5 seconds left was the coolest play of the year
It didn’t win the Raptors the game, but DeRozan made another play in overtime to solve that problem.

Poor, poor Anthony Tolliver.
The Raptors had just fallen behind by a point on a Blake Griffin three-point play. With no timeouts, they threw the ball into DeRozan, and the Red Sea parted. DeRozan sped past Ish Smith, and the Pistons didn’t respond until way, way too late. You’d almost think they were allowing DeRozan to clinch a playoff spot...
... until Griffin ruined the best game-winner possible with a game-tying shot of his own.
But fear not, Raptors fans. DeRozan also made the decisive play in overtime, driving at three Pistons and kicking to Fred VanVleet for the game-winning three.
That play clinched a playoff spot for the Raptors.
We’ll remember the dunk. DeRozan will probably remember the assist. Both seem OK to us.
