The only North American round of the top motorcycle racing discipline is set for Sunday, with the 2018 MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas. The race comes from the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and is one of the most exciting races on the MotoGP calendar.

It’s only the third race of the season as well, so there’s plenty of intrigue for veterans of sport and plenty of reason for interested newcomers to tune in. The race itself will begin at 3 p.m. ET on beIN Sports, with live online streaming of the race at fuboTV and beIN Sports Connect. beIN Sports will have coverage earlier in the day, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Marc Márquez of Spain, racing for Repsol Honda Team, has won the race in Austin in each of the last five years. His dominance in the United States cannot be overstated, however, as he has won every MotoGP race in the country that he has participated in.

That includes a win at Laguna Seca in 2013, Indianapolis in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and every year in Austin since the race entered the MotoGP calendar in 2013. That’s nine MotoGP races in the US for Márquez, and nine wins. He’ll go for a perfect 10 on Sunday.

Márquez is a four-time MotoGP world champion, and is also the defending champion. He currently sits at fifth in the 2018 standings with 20 points. Cal Crutchlow leads everyone else with 38 points. Behind him are Andrea Dovizioso, Johann Zarco and Maverick Viñales to round out the top five.

On Sunday, Marquez will start fourth on the grid. He originally qualified in first, once again, but was demoted to fourth after race stewards gave him a penalty for blocking Yahama rider Viñales in qualifying. Viñales will start first on the grid, ahead of Andrea Iannone’s Suzuki and Johann Zarco’s Yamaha.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action, including live streaming links.
