NBA Media Day was fun! Catch up on the action here.

NBA Media Day was on Monday (and on Friday, but mostly Monday). It marked the unofficial, unofficial start to the NBA season, the day each NBA team presents its head coach, general manager, and full roster to the media, which in turn, presents them to the world.

Media Day is always full of insightful quotes, but it’s also a time when player personalities shines through, usually in the form of photos, videos, and different social media posts.

We rounded up some of the wildest quotes, videos, photos and moments of the day. Now, we’ve whittled that list down to the best seven.

Here you go.

Guess who stole LeBron’s locker?

LeBron James left Cleveland for Los Angeles. You knew that. But did you know who would take The King’s uninhabited locker at The Q?

Who else? Channing Frye.

The Cavs traded Frye at the deadline last season, then re-signed him as a free agent this summer. The man wasted no time in claiming what was rightfully his. A SEAT AT THE THRONE.

SOMEONE TRADE ENES KANTER RIGHT NOW.

Some things you just don’t need to explain. This quote from Knicks big man Enes Kanter is one of them.

God bless Knicks PR, man. God bless you.

Kawhi Leonard laughed!

Hoooooo, if any moment won NBA Media Day, it was Kawhi Leonard’s suffocated cackle at his own joke. The set up was hilarious: A reporter ASKED LEONARD TO TELL THE CITY OF TORONTO ABOUT HIMSELF. Leonard replied he’s a ... you know what? Just press play.

If you’re not laughing, you’re a robot who bleeds antifreeze just like him.

SCARY!

Terry Rozier and the Boston Celtics are taking this whole Scary Terry thing to a new level. And this outfit — one which fooled a few of us here at SB Nation (some thought this was God-level Photoshopping) — won the day.

Gotta love Russ

Please, please don’t ask Russell Westbrook questions you already know the answer to. He knows the answer to the question before the answer was even made public. In other words: don’t be the guy who asked Russ this question. You’ll almost always get this answer.

WTF Udonis?

I wish they would have shown how Udonis Haslem got onto the top of the backboard in the first place. Instead, we have to assume he cartwheel-triple-backflipped up onto the bar, did a one-handed pull-up to bring the rest of his body, then glided into the air like an angel.

OK, maybe not. Somehow, he climbed the back of the backboard and posed for photos, then climbed down. There’s gotta be an award for this type of thing.

LOL, Deandre Ayton’s over Media Day already

Leave it to a rookie to say, “Do I have to do this next year?” on his first Media Day.

LeBron is here y’all

Whoever picked purple and gold for Lakers colors some 60-plus years ago deserves some type of royalty checks. In related news, LeBron James looks majestic in his new Lakers jersey.

R.I.P. Evan Fournier

Leave to this guy to take a jab at LeBron on Media Day. Over/under on how many times he’ll get dunked on by The King? The Lakers and Magic play twice this season. Let’s go with a calm 17.

Oh no, Tony

Tony Parker said he told the Hornets not to mess with his playoff streak. He’d been to 17 straight playoffs during his time with the Spurs.

He also must have forgotten that Charlotte has missed the playoffs 3 of the last 4 seasons an finished 36-46 each of the past two seasons. His best shot at making the playoffs? Pray management trades for Jimmy Butler.
