Never doubt superstars. Even if they’re hurting, they’ll still put the team on their backs.

That’s what we saw on Tuesday night as Sue Bird and Elena Delle Donne led the Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics respectively to decisive Game 5 victories in the WNBA semifinals.

Bird, who played with a broken nose, led the Storm to a 94-84 comeback victory over the Mercury. The 37-year-old finished the game with 22 points, including 14 in the final six minutes of the game.

Delle Donne had 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Mystics’ Game 5 win over the Atlanta Dream. That might sound a bit pedestrian, except for the fact that she’s playing just a week after a suffering what looked to be a devastating knee injury during Game 2.

Simply put, Bird and Dele Donne balled out. And now, we get to see the two superstars go head-to-head in the WNBA Finals.

What could be better than that? How about two fire T-shirts featuring Bird and Dele Donne to kick off the WNBA Finals?
