James Harden broke Jamal Murray’s ankles, but was it worse than Wesley Johnson?

Did Harden outdo himself?

James Harden claimed another pair of ankles — or maybe kneecaps. A season after he set the Internet on fire with a killer stepback then stare at Wesley Johnson, Harden hit Nuggets guard Jamal Murray with a vicious behind-the-back that sent him flying to the ground.

He then hit the three, while making it a four-point play by drawing a foul on Murray.

Every angle of this sequence is devastating.

Even the angle from the jumbotron, with the Rockets’ crowd groaning in the background, is foul play.

This may have easily been the wildest ankle-breaker of this season. It might not even be a discussion. But did Harden outdo himself on Monday night? I’m not so sure.

Just re-watch his crossover on Wesley Johnson. This video superimposed some Fortnite gameplay on top of the move. Pure comedy.

The fact that he had enough time to gather himself — possibly a travel, but the statute of limitations has long expired — then STARE at Johnson immortalizes this moment in NBA history.

But there’s no question Harden caught another body on Monday night. Sorry it had to be you, Murray. The ankle-breaker never discriminates.
