Scottish soccer player Jane O’Toole is tough. The St. Mirren captain dislocated her kneecap on the pitch over the weekend, and instead of leaving the field and seeking medical attention like a normal person, she decided to HAMMER IT BACK IN WITH HER FIST AND KEPT PLAYING.
This Scottish soccer player hammered her own dislocated knee back into place mid-game and kept on playing
Jane O’Toole is tougher than any of us.

The injury occurred in the 50th minute in St. Mirren’s game against Inverness in the Scottish Cup. Despite her team being down, 6-0, at the time, O’Toole refused to quit, and instead played on for a full 40 minutes after wrenching her kneecap back into place. Anyone could be forgiven for leaving the field under the circumstance. It would have taken a miracle for St. Mirren’s to get back in the game, and with the score already out of hand there was the perfect excuse to call it a day — but the captain refused.
The final score was 7-0 Inverness, but just getting back out on the pitch and playing proves a level of toughness most of us have never needed to contemplate. By all accounts O’Toole is fine following her injury, or as fine as anyone who’s had their knee dislocated can be, anyway.
