Who is Jason Kelce rooting for in the Super Bowl? The Eagles or his brother?

Will we see Jason Kelce in Chiefs gear on Sunday?

Jason Kelce was loudly, and proudly cheering the Chiefs a year ago when Kansas City and San Francisco met in the Super Bowl — but that won’t be the case in Super Bowl LIV.

Jason made it clear on New Heights that he’s torn in his allegiances, but not matter what happens he’ll be happy.

“I’ll always root for my brother, but there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization that feel like extended family to me. I’m rooting for those guys too. I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it.”

Jason went on to say that there are players on the Eagles he’s so close to that they might as well be his family, with Lane Johnson being someone Jason Kelce considers to be like a brother. So this means we might not see Jason donning Chiefs gear like he did a year ago, but he’s still happy if his brother wins another Super Bowl too.

It might seem confusing, but it makes a lot of sense. Sure, it might make it tough to know who to cheer for in-game, but this kind of middle-of-the-road response is fairly warranted. Philly are his guys, his city, coaches, and staff he all knows — but blood is thicker than water.
