The 2025 NFL Draft is almost upon us, and fans from every NFL team are looking for the best players to add to their squad. But they aren’t interested in every player — they always have position groups they are looking at more closely.

That brings us to our 2025 NFL Draft position group rankings. Here at SB Nation, we have 32 NFL team sites and we’ve brought together experts from around that vast network to vote on their favorite players at every position. Then we averaged those individual rankings together to give you our definitive consensus rankings for every position group.

After ranking the best players at those positions, we had experts write up scouting reports on all the players ranked in the top 10 at each position to help folks further discern which player they want their team to draft.

In short, we took a whole bunch of data and distilled it for you so you can form educated opinions heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. Check out each article below for all that great information.

Specifically in the late rounds, you might be trying to decide between a deep rosterable player or even a priority practice squad add, but if you have a spot open at kicker or punter, you might be able to add an important piece.

The top cornerbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft class have star potential, while the next couple of tiers show the promise of players who will receive multiple contracts at the next level. This is a class that has the potential to be special when we look back on it a couple of years from now.

Normally you’d see a list of the ten best players at a position, but there were so many CBs receiving multiple votes, we’ve put numbers 11 to 20 in the list (but without blurbs). This is a deep cornerback class where we could see around 13-15 plays as soon as Year 1.

In last year’s draft, tight end Brock Bowers went 10th overall to the Raiders en route to being named a first-team All-Pro and having arguably the best season for a first-year tight end in NFL history. He was a unicorn at the University of Georgia and that talent he showed in college seamlessly transitioned to the pros.

This time around, there are two very talented players at the top of the tight end position, but they still both fall short of Bowers when he was coming out. There’s plenty to like about this tight end class, though, especially at the talent you can find after Round 1. NFL teams should be able to find contributors well into the draft and no matter what kind of skillset you’re after (traditional Y, flex, or “move” tight end), there’s sure to be something for everyone.

This year’s class of pass rushers is very deep, and the 2025 NFL Draft could see a record number of defensive ends and rushing outside linebackers come off the board.

Normally we’d rank the top 10, but that might not even make it to the end of Round 2 this year, so we expanded to include the top 14 players at the EDGE position — all the players who received votes in the top 10 from our collection of draft experts from our 32 NFL team sites.

Unlike this year’s offensive tackle class, the strength of the guard class is in the middle rounds as opposed to the top. While guys like Tyler Booker (Alabama) and Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) are the likely first-round picks of the group, there’s even more potential to be had on Day 2 and Day 3 with a number of experienced players coming out of powerhouse programs like Ohio State, Georgia, and LSU.

In fact, there’s more than a few good players who were left off this top 10 list entirely, such as Ohio State center Seth McLaughlin and North Carolina guard Willie Lampkin. Both would have likely made this list if it wasn’t for injury (McLaughlin) or size concerns (Lampkin).

The quarterback class in the 2025 NFL Draft not widely considered to be a strong one. There are players with talent and upside, but this is generally considered to be a down year for the most important position on the field.

At the same time, there are many teams across the NFL that are in need of quarterbacks.
