In the year 2017, Earth has received a transmission from outer space. An alien overlord, The All-Powerful Zodd, has demanded Earth’s entry into “The Galactic Tournament of Champions.” An elite team of five athletes, or “Champions,” will represent Earth.
The Crew
Dan Cannon
An (elite) NFL quarterback. A pretty boy football star, who continues to live his life as if he’s the most important person in the room. He is physically impressive with a “cannon” for an arm, but may be past his prime.
Kat Scorpio
An MMA fighter. A lightweight champion, who grew up in a rough neighborhood. She has always had to fight for everything she could get. She’s someone you don’t mess with.
Bud Bronson
An MLB slugger. A dim-witted Southerner, who is generally out of shape and slow on the uptake. He is usually not the “go-to-guy” on the mission, but he sure can hit a baseball.
Reggie Wall
An NBA big man. He has a working knowledge of most things and continually surprises his teammates with his intellect. He would probably be the leader of the team, if he wasn’t endlessly supplanted by the drama, stupidity, and laziness of his teammates.
Aly Wu
An Olympic gymnast. Smart, but sometimes oblivious to the “big picture.” She always tries to find the positive side of every situation. Her skills and ability make her the most physically capable on the team.
The Stories
Galactic Tournament of Champions
The Team is woken up from hypersleep to find that some things on the ship are not what they seem.
Department of Classless Planets
The Team must register for “The Galactic Tournament of Champions,” but discovers that the entire event is a bureaucratic nightmare.
Temple of Death
The Team competes in their first challenge of the tournament, the horrifying “Temple of Death.”
