Jazz vs. Pistons results: Jazz come back to beat Detroit 90-87
Utah came back from fifteen down, then staved off a comeback from the Pistons.

The teams evened each other out with an awful offensive quarter apiece. While the Pistons rode Brandon Knight and Greg Monroe to a hot start, the Jazz produced just thirteen points in a sorry first stanza. In the second half, though, the Jazz dialed up their signature physicality and one-upped Detroit by holding them to just 11 points in the third. Things got a little crazy after that.
Utah strode ahead in the third, then built a double-digit lead of their own midway through the fourth quarter. The game appeared out of hand until Will Bynum -- as is his wont -- reeled off a succession of driving finishes to cut Utah's lead to just two. After Paul Millsap split a pair of late free throws, Detroit had a chance to tie with just seconds left, but DeMarre Carroll closed off Knight's game-winning three-point attempt to seal the game for Utah.
So, a blowout one way turned into a blowout the other way, which turned into a narrow, last-second victory. Basketball!
