Paul Pierce may have been a little irritated with Omri Casspi hitting him in the face before, and give him a bit of an extra shove on this foul ... sending him directly into a child sitting on the baseline:

Agh, that sucks. Pierce deserved the flagrant foul he got for that, but it wasn’t such an egregious play. Just a wrong place, wrong time situation. Makes one wonder if courtside seats should be treated like exit rows on a plane: No occupancy unless you can handle a 200-pound person falling onto your lap.
The young fan appears to be okay, if a little rattled, but that was a scary moment for everyone involved.
