The Tigers had a whole dance choreographed for their ALDS win

That or they improvised and are PERFECTLY in sync.

It seems the Tigers planned ahead for a dominant Justin Verlander performance and a 3-0 win over the Athletics in Game 5 of the ALDS. At game's end, they gathered around the mound and busted out a choreographed dance vaguely resembling the famous Haka, only goofier. This is what glory looks like:

It figures that Joaquin Benoit-- the pitcher who nearly let the A's back into the game down the stretch-- is also the one who CLEARLY DID NOT PRACTICE HIS STEPS before the game. That's him in the middle doing the moves totally off-beat, and that's Victor Martinez rushing in at the last second after his teammates started their dance without him. Could've been tighter, guys.

So, we’ll give Detroit an A+ on the series win and a B- on the group dance execution. You’re gonna have to win at least one more series for another shot at getting it right, Tigers.
