Odd story from ESPN's Tom Luginbill today: When Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was a kid, he was dunking a basketball when his ring finger got caught between the net and the rim and separated at the knuckle. To this day, it's pretty funky looking:

There was a dunking accident.
Apparently it affects his grip and adds a bit of wobble to his passes, but, clearly, he’s figured things out.
