Monta Ellis and Ty Lawson gave us a wild ending in Milwaukee

A four-point play wasn’t enough for Milwaukee.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a surprisingly lively evening of basketball, with this bananas ending in Milwaukee serving as the most recent example.

First, Monta Ellis stuck a four-point play (that wasn't even remotely a foul on Evan Fournier, but we'll allow it for excitement's sake) to give Milwaukee an unlikely lead, then Ty Lawson stuck him right back with a harsh step-back jumper.

J.J. Redick's last-second attempt missed, and now the Nuggets have clinched home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
