Grizzlies-Clippers has already been exceedingly chippy so far. Among other collisions and confrontations, Chris Paul took a poke in the eye from Mike Conley. Paul didn't get the whistle initially, so he just started traveling until a ref got confused and blew a whistle.

It ended up being Conley's second foul, too, so Paul's no-more-basketball-for-anybody-until-someone-pays-attention-to-me schtick worked pretty well. Vinny Del Negro probably thinks it was his wild gesturing that did it.
