The Phillies and Eagles shared a porn stash in the ‘90s

Until the early 2000s, the Phillies and Eagles shared a home at Veterans Stadium. When you share a home, you share the amenities within said home, which, in the case of these particular gentlemen, meant sharing a treasure chest of pornographic magazines (books?). From a Hollis Thomas radio interview, via CBS Philly:

“[The Phillies] did have an awesome… we used to share like the shower and rest room area at the Vet, and they had an awesome collection of porn. They did, it was just like a bunch of books in there,” Thomas said Thursday on the 94WIP Morning Show. “It was just in a chest. When I first got there I was like, ‘What is this?’ They was like, ‘This is reading material’. I was like, ‘Reading material?’”

Philadelphia sports in the ‘90s were pretty much summer camp.
