When your baseball team hasn’t had a winning season since Sister Act was in theaters (Sister Act may actually be responsible for the jinx), cracking 82 wins is a huge deal. Damn right it deserves the whole front page of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review sports section:
Pittsburgh newspaper marks Pirates’ winning season with full-spread ‘82’
A 20-year streak ending deserves a whole front page.

Congratulations, Pirates. If you were an NBA team, you'd be perfect. As an MLB team, you are triumphantly average (and counting!). It's been a while.
