Okay, so the aged but still SHREDDING gentlemen of KISS are performing at the Kings-Ducks NHL Stadium Series game in Los Angeles in late January. Tuesday night, band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley dropped the puck before the Kings’ game against Minnesota. They also posed for this wonderful photo with Kings mascot Bailey the Lion, who GOT HIS OWN KISS MAKEUP (so did the ice girls!):
Here is the LA Kings lion mascot in KISS makeup
But why not the Catman?

— LA Kings (@LAKings) January 8, 2014 That’s wonderful, but one major gripe: KISS has a Catman, yet Bailey chose to wear Simmons’ signature makeup in his presence.
On second thought, I guess it would be redundant for a whiskered mascot to paint whiskers on his own face. The KISS makeup is about dressing up, changing your identity. A Jewish sixth-grade teacher in New York got to become a demonic mega rock star. If a fuzzy lion wants to do the same, he can do so. I’m sorry I insisted you should be the Catman, Bailey. Be whoever you want to be.
(Tip of the hat on all the above to @cjzero)
