Coast Guard rescues man in Atlantic Ocean trying to run to Bermuda in floating bubble

Sorry, what?

Yeah. Coast Guard first got reports of a guy “asking for directions to Bermuda” a few days before they found him struggling with exhaustion off the coast of Miami (although he did have “protein bars, bottled water, a GPS and a satellite phone” on board).

The man refused to leave his bubble when contacted, so they just brought a helicopter and scooped him out of the ocean. The video is pretty eerie:

I would have suspected crashed alien vessel for a little while before realizing it was a dude trying to run to Bermuda in an inflatable hamster wheel.
