Okay, let’s walk through these.

- Perhaps “Pinkie” came from DeAngelo Williams’ pink-dyed dreads to honor his late mother?

- I’m just gonna assume Jonathan Stewart is called “Chunky Soup” because of this random Pinterest page I just found with a quick Google search.

- Byron Bell’s “Brisket” nickname is clearly from this recipe I just found with a quick Google search.

- I guess “Ogbonnaya” does sound a bit like “Obi-Wan.”

- Brenton Bersin does indeed have rather Lord Farquaad-y hair:

- And while Foswhitt “Fozzy” Whittaker already has a great nickname, the story behind “Boucher” is apparently that Newton thought his name was “Bobby” for several weeks.

I wonder what Cam Newton’s nickname for me would be. Probably “Champ.”
