That was a tie game in overtime. Knight was the simplest, most open basketball shot on Earth away from being a hero, but he messed up. It hurts to watch. Just too hasty, and too worried about the footsteps behind him. :(

Knight went on to hit a huge three, and the Bucks won in triple overtime, so no real harm done. Just extra basketball.
