Kobe Bryant notches second triple-double of the year in win over Nuggets

Kobe Bryant can still do things when he's in the mood, and he was in the mood Tuesday night, unleashing a triple-double of 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in a Los Angeles Lakers road win over the Denver Nuggets. It was Bryant's second triple-double of the year, the first coming Nov. 30 against the Toronto Raptors. It's as if he has to hit an assists and rebounds quota each month and just crams it all in at the end.

Tuesday's effort featured one of Kobe's prettiest plays of the season, this slick no-look assist (number 11) to Ed Davis:

Bryant reached the triple-double mark with an offensive rebound late in the fourth quarter, only to add another one before the final buzzer. One more turnover and it could have been a quadruple-double!

This was Kobe’s second game back after a three-game break around Christmas. Guess the rest helped.
